Pictures up from day 1! Started off with a cyclo ride around the city--there is no possible better introduction to the crazy pace of city life in modern Asia. Afterwards we went to the War Remnants Museum (I spent most of the time discussing the exhibits with the kids and didn't get any pictures for posting, but I will rally some up from others in the next day or so). We also went to the post office building, which is a fabulous example of French Colonial Architecture, had an outstanding traditional Vietnamese meal, and for the grand finale the kids gave the fine art of haggling Asian style a try at the cities largest market. It was close to 100 degrees today, we took a brake in the afternoon to hit the pool at the hotel, and then a coalition of the hard core shoppers headed out to the night market with me and Mrs. Hill, where even better bargains were to be had. We are off to Da Nang at 6:30am tomorrow and the highlight of the trip--the Orphanage. Look for more pictures sometime
